Small-Diameter Dental Implants

sddi.jpgThe technology is beginning to replace traditional dental implants due to the promise of faster results in less time and money. These small diameter dental implants use a hole that is less than 3.0mm which is opposed to the almost 4.0 to 5.0 mm holes traditional dental implants used. They were shown to have risen in popularity by as much as 30% in 2007 alone resulting in $20 million dollars in revenue. The process takes less time and less visits to the dentist and recuperation time is also shorter plus the less invasive procedure lessening stress and improving the lives of more people. This year would show further increase of their use and will eventually replace more traditional techniques.
