Smoking Hazards

Smokers are sure to have some form of dental problems for sure such as stains and even gum disease that may or may result in tooth loss. Most of these stains can be cleaned away by cosmetic dentistry but if it is accompanied by disease, it usually goes down into the gums, damaging the enamel which can only be remedied with veneers and bleaching. Regular brushing and dental visits for cleaning are essential if one does smoke and wishes to maintain a healthy set of teeth along with proper dental hygiene that lessens the impact of tobacco on the teeth.
Though it may be too harsh to recommend that one stops smoking, it would be a good idea if one wishes to maintain a healthy set of teeth that would last a lifetime as mother nature has designed it to do so. Proper diet and dental visits ensures the good health of your teeth which is one of the human body’s most expressive parts, conveying a welcome message even without a word being spoken.
